Note: SurePayroll's own pages showed two different monthly prices for each of its business payroll plans (Full Service and No Tax Filing) on each of our visits on October 22, 2026, so we don't show a SurePayroll price until one is confirmed. Check SurePayroll's site for the price you're offered.

Full product name: SurePayroll (Paychex)

SurePayroll's own pages showed different prices when we checked, so we don't show any until one is confirmed. Not verified: Full Service plan price: on October 22, 2026, each of three visits to SurePayroll's pricing page (about 22:00, 22:06 and 22:17 UTC) showed two "Small Business Pricing" blocks, "Starting at $29/month" and "Starting at $39/month", and each of three visits to its small business page (about 22:01, 22:08 and 22:17 UTC) showed two Full Service cards, "$29" and "$39" a month, both "plus" "$7 per employee" (the pricing page's calculator showed "Monthly Subscription" "$29.00", and the switch page showed "Full-Service $29/month" and an order summary of "Full Service" "$29.99/month"); No Tax Filing plan ($20/mo + $4 per employee, seen 2026-10-22 by the first check) could not be re-confirmed on a second check the same day, when the pricing page showed no No Tax Filing plan; No Tax Filing plan price: later on October 22, 2026 it wasn't on SurePayroll's pricing page on any of three visits, while its small business, features, independent contractor and tax filing guarantee pages each showed two No Tax Filing cards, "$20/mo" and "$29/mo", both "$4 per employee" (the switch page's comparison heading said "No Tax Filing $20/month"); Contractor fee on the No Tax Filing plan (its cards say only "$4 per employee"); Whether the $9.99 multi-state fee, local tax filing and the other add-ons apply the same way to the No Tax Filing plan (the plan comparison table leaves its local tax filing cell empty); Terms of SurePayroll's "no penalty tax filing guarantee" (named on its switch page, and listed as "No IRS penalties - guaranteed" for Full Service on its plan comparison page): the linked tax filing guarantee page showed no terms.

Tax filing coverage, in SurePayroll's words: Full Service: 'Federal & state payroll taxes filed & deposited'; FAQ: 'we calculate and pay federal, state, and local payroll taxes' ('*A separate fee applies to areas that require local taxes.'); plan comparison table: 'Local tax filing' '$9.99/mo.' for Full-Service. No explicit 50-state claim on the pages read (the pricing calculator lists all 50 states).
